Choosing a Christmas tree

The past 3 years we've lived in Arlington, we've walked 5 minutes up the bike path behind our house and to get a tree from the Boys & Girls Club and then Sam carries it home. A bit different than how we grew up finding a Christmas tree...but definitely easy and convenient!

GG comes for a visit before Christmas!

And brings a new favorite...we've done miles in the house already. Can't wait to take it outside this spring!

We opted for a smaller tree to put on a table so that I wouldn't have to keep Caleb from pulling everything off of it for a month, but he learned how to pull himself up and get just about anywhere he wants too! He hasn't stopped moving since...

Christmas with Sam's Family in PA!

Caleb did really well on the 8 hour drive to Gina's house. We were pleasantly surprised...he isn't a fan of being in the car seat (or anywhere confined!), but he took a couple good naps, and we learned that McDonald's Playlands are a wonderful thing!

We had a great time with Sam's family...Caleb loved being at GG's. He was a big fan of her dog and cat, and of course all the activity and fun with so many people in one house! Here are some pictures from the week...
